SHIPPING POLICY
Lisa Lisa Inc.
d/b/a Kara Marie Wines
Effective Date: August 26, 2026 | Last Updated: August 26, 2026
1. Scope
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through karamariewines.com (the βSiteβ), operated by Lisa Lisa Inc., doing business as Kara Marie Wines (the βCompanyβ). It forms part of the Terms of Use posted on the Site.
Orders are processed and fulfilled through Vinoshipper, the Companyβs licensed e-commerce and compliance platform. Certain matters described below are governed by Vinoshipperβs own published terms and by the policies of the delivery carrier.
Operational details set by Vinoshipper or by the delivery carrier, including the number of delivery attempts made, rerouting fees, and the period for which a package is held for collection, are subject to change without notice. Current details are available from Vinoshipper.
2. Where Orders Can Be Shipped
2.1 Shipments are made only within the United States, and only to states in which shipment of wine is permitted under applicable law. The states available to you are shown at checkout. Availability changes as state law changes.
2.2 Deliveries cannot be made to post office boxes. A street address is required.
2.3 Quantity limits apply in some states. Where a limit applies, it is enforced at checkout.
2.4 Orders cannot be shipped outside the United States.
3. Adult Signature Required
3.1 Federal and state law requires that an adult twenty-one years of age or older sign for every delivery containing wine, and present valid government-issued photo identification. The carrier will not leave a package unattended, and will not release a package to anyone under twenty-one.
3.2 The recipient does not need to be the person who placed the order, but must be twenty-one or older and must be present.
3.3 The number of delivery attempts is set by the carrier and is subject to change. Vinoshipper has advised that UPS now makes a single delivery attempt, after which the package may be redirected to a UPS access point of the carrierβs choosing for collection. Identification showing you are twenty-one or older is required at collection. If the package is not collected within the period the carrier allows, it is returned as described in Section 7. The carrier specifies the delivery date but not the time of day.
3.4 A business address, where someone is present during the day, is often the most reliable delivery destination.
4. Shipping Charges and Timing
4.1 Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on destination and the number of bottles ordered, and are shown before payment.
4.2 Orders are typically prepared for shipment within a few business days, and wine club releases ship on the schedule announced for each release. Fulfillment timing is an estimate. The Company may adjust it at its discretion where unforeseen circumstances, including weather, require.
4.3 A tracking number is provided by email once an order ships. Tracking is also available in your Vinoshipper account under Purchases.
5. Weather Holds and Temperature
5.1 Wine is sensitive to heat and cold. During periods of extreme temperature, shipments may be held and released when conditions improve. Holds protect the wine and are applied at the Companyβs discretion.
5.2 Neither the Company nor Vinoshipper assumes liability for wine damaged by heat or cold in transit. If you are concerned about temperature at your destination, choose an expedited shipping method, which reduces time in transit, or ask the Company to hold your order for a more favorable window.
6. Changing a Delivery in Transit
6.1 An alternate delivery address or delivery date can often be arranged while an order is in transit. A carrier rerouting fee applies, along with any additional shipping charges, and is the responsibility of the customer.
6.2 After a package has shipped, it can generally be redirected to the local carrier service center for pickup. Identification showing you are twenty-one or older is required at collection, and the package is held for a limited number of days before it is returned.
6.3 To arrange either, contact Vinoshipper customer service, or contact the Company using the information in Section 8 and it will assist.
7. Undeliverable, Refused, and Returned Packages
7.1 If no adult twenty-one or older is available across the carrierβs delivery attempts, if delivery is refused, or if the address provided is invalid, the package is returned. Returned packages are handled under Vinoshipperβs return policy, and shipping charges are incurred in both directions.
7.2 Returned orders are handled under Vinoshipperβs return policy. When an order is returned and cancelled, Vinoshipper withholds the shipping charges for both the trip out and the trip back from your refund. These are the actual carrier charges for the order, which may be more than any shipping amount you paid at checkout, and they are withheld whether or not you paid for shipping. Vinoshipper sends you a cancellation notice showing the refund amount and the amount withheld. Where Vinoshipper determines the return resulted from a carrier error rather than a failed delivery, no shipping is withheld and the order is reshipped at no additional charge.
7.3 Because both shipping charges are deducted from a refund, redirecting a package before it is returned is almost always the better outcome. If a delivery attempt has failed, contact Vinoshipper customer service or the Company promptly to arrange redelivery or collection at the local carrier service center, as described in Section 6.
7.4 Providing a complete and accurate shipping address, and choosing a destination where an adult will be present, is the customerβs responsibility.
7.5 Vinoshipper is operated by Zero Link Markets, Inc. Its terms and return policy are published at vinoshipper.com/info/term.htm. Questions about a returned order may also be directed to Vinoshipper customer service at customerservice@vinoshipper.com.
